Why Do I Even Bother Checking Facebook?

Okay, so the best thing about Facebook is checking people’s status. Today, I see this:

Seriously, why do I bother checking Facebook?

As a Twitter user, what motivation do I have to go to Facebook just to read the exact same content? I’m starting to realize I’m just not Facebook’s target audience.

    I use facebook to:
    - Keep in touch with college people
    - share photos of get-togethers
    - mobile update status (more often than twitter, actually)
    - use random apps to kill time (TV show trivia is a great way to do it.

    I don’t have any college people on there… because I’m an “old dude”. :)
